Sharing food, dignity, and hope
The India chapter’s first event distributed meals to children, older adults, people with disabilities, and others experiencing need.

The challenge
Food insecurity can be immediate and deeply local. The chapter wanted its first action to center dignity, care, and direct support.
What the chapter did
Students organized and delivered a community food distribution at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital in Bhangagarh, Guwahati, working directly with people in the surrounding area.
What was reported
The chapter reported reaching 40 children, 15 people with disabilities, 30 older adults, and additional community members.
